Between Paris and the Norman coast, the Château du Champ de Bataille is a symbol of the excellence of French know-how. The chateau and the gardens have been beautifully restored by the famous interior designer Jacques Garcia. Inside, it is richly decorated and furnished and it will give you a precise idea of the 18th century way of life. You will be blow-away by the beautiful French formal garden, a tremendous recreation dedicated to human philosophy through the seven levels of creation.

Visit of apiaries at French Military School with Audric de Campeau.
Opening hives with the beekeeper for 30 minutes.
Tasting honey, honey agreement and cheese, champagne for an hour.

Audric was born in Paris in 1983. He has always had a passionate interest in nature – he has been growing vines and vegetables organically in the Champagne region since he was 15, and began learning about beekeeping in 2004. He immediately fell in love with these fascinating insects and their produce. He set up his first hives in Paris in 2010, and was surprised to find that they produced, a lot of a beautiful honey with a typology all its own. He would love you to taste the fruit of his work – and that of “his girls” – in the heart of the City of Lovers, in the gardens of the Hôtel National des Invalides in Paris, on the roof of the Musée d'Orsay, and upon the French Military School, just in front of the Eiffel Tower.
